The Journey

I grew up in Glenboig, a small village in North Lanarkshire. My teenage years were tough—bullying shaped me in ways I didn't understand at the time. When I left school early, I moved into car garages, working as a parts advisor and then a car salesman. I got sacked a couple of times for clashing with management, but those failures taught me more than any success could have.

At 34, I made the jump into personal training. Six years later, I've built Generation Health & Fitness into a thriving gym and coaching business in Bridgeton, the East End of Glasgow. I'm not here to sell you fairy tales about six-pack shortcuts. I'm here to give you real results through sustainable nutrition, evidence-based training, and the kind of accountability that actually works for working-class people who don't have time for nonsense.

I founded Generation HF in October 2022 because I was tired of seeing fitness treated as a luxury for the wealthy. We're based in one of Glasgow's toughest areas, and that's intentional. Real people, real results, no excuses.
