gnerationhealthandfitness.comHey!  My name is Gayle Kluesner and I am a devoted health & fitness enthusiast!  I am also dedicated to helping people learn how to change their lives.

In 2003, I started my own health & fitness journey.  I had absolutely no idea what to do or how to do it.  I joined a gym and could barely do 5 minutes on the Elliptical.  Since I didn’t want to embarrass myself, trying to figure out all those funny looking machines, I decided to get a trainer.  After just one session, I was hooked.  Fortunately for me, the trainer I got was very strict about proper form and technique (which is the most important aspect of training).

Throughout the next 8 years, I had several different trainers and learned different tips and tricks from each.  And although I was seeing small changes, I felt as though something was missing.  I was doing strength training and cardio 3x/week but still had a pooch that would not go away.  In 2009, I hooked up with a trainer who also wrote out meal plans.  Within 3 months I leaned out quite a bit.  The most shocking part was that I reduced my cardio sessions to just one 30 minute session a week and kept my strength training at 3x/week!

At this point, I decided two things.  First, I was going to go to school to become a trainer (I was an elementary school teacher at the time),  and second, I was going to enter a figure competition.  In just 2 short years I accomplished both goals.  I received my Master’s in Kinesiology (study of muscle movement), a Health & Fitness Specialist Certification from ASCM and placed 3rd in a NPC figure competition.

Since then, I obtained a certification in Turbulence Training (30 minute workouts for busy people) and have trained numerous people with incredible results.  I believe that through my own experiences and self-experimentation, I now have the answers everyone is looking for.  Now it is my turn to share those answers with as many people as possible.

My site is called Generation Health & Fitness because I want entire families to learn and work together to become healthier.  If we can learn the proper information (form, technique, nutrition) we can then teach that information to the younger generation which will continue on, making the world a healthier and happier place.  Please join me in my mission.  I hope you will find helpful information, motivation, and ultimately a healthier way to live with the information on my website.
